But their were two films that made me want all the clothes, and well just to be the leading lady... These were Sabrina and Funny Face.
I understand that at this point most people of similar sensibilities to me are thinking...
'OH GOD!!! another of those deeply unoriginal girls who has a breakfast at tiffany's homescreen and poster! AHHHHhhhh'
... luckily for you I am not one of those girls - I do not own nor have I ever, a Breakfast at Tiffany's Poster! - I hope these pictures show a much better side of Ms Hepburn!Sabrina is about a girl who falls hopelessly in love with her fathers boss, and so her father sends her to Paris to get over it, with a little help from Givency (who actually designed the costumes for this section) she reappears in the USA to take her pick of men!
I believe Funny Face is THE original fashion film. Audrey Hepburn plays the first of Tyra Banks America's Next Top Models - no only joking - but she is a book worm who is 'discovered' and becomes a huge fashion model. Every fashionista worth their AlaÏa should have seen this film.

Lovely! I am basically forced (in a good way) to watch the Turner Movie Classics channel on TV (where the first clip is from) when I go home to visit my parents as my dad is ADDICTED to it! ("They don't make 'em like they used to.")
